In the course of the celebration of the Miner´s Day in Chervonohrad (Lviv region),  A.Yatseniuk, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, sent his greetings to the employees of the enterprise "Lvivvuhillia" on the occasion of their occupational holiday.  

Addressing the workers of the coal-mining industry, A.Yatseniuk stated that "Donetsk and Luhansk regions are usually regarded as coal-mining ones, and Lviv region is often not mentioned".  

A.Yatseniuk stated that "every meeting on the occasion of the Miner´s Day begins with a minute of silence in the honour of the people who perished in the mine". Therefore, he promised to install a memorial stele in honour of the perished miners near St.Barbara church in Chervonohrad.  

The Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine assured the attendants that the Parliament would adopt the Law on prestigiousness of miner´s work in the upcoming political season.  

He also expressed his gratitude to the coal-miners for their hard work: "I would like to make a low bow to you for your hard work".
